Occupational Health & Safety
At Classic Technical, safety always comes first and the safety of our people underpins everything we do. Classic Technical is committed to achieve Zero Harm and we strive for the highest level of safety and operational standards through our Health, Safety and Environmental policies, Integrated Management System Manual (IMSM) and Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) to ensure that the company abides by the applicable health and safety legislations, international protocols and other health and safety standards, codes and guidelines set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), Flag administrations, classification societies and other industry companies.
We firmly believe that everyone has a fundamental role to play to ensure that their work environment is safe and conducive. We aim to nurture a conducive work culture where our employees take ownership and responsibility for their safety and the safety of the people around them so that every employee can get home to their loved ones safely. All employees are empowered to STOP Work when they consider a job to be unsafe in accordance to our STOP Work policy.

Security
Classic Technical recognizes that the security and protection of all persons (ashore and afloat) are the overriding priorities of all business activities. We are committed to provide a safe and secure work environment which protects people, assets and information from potential threats.
Security procedures & practices for vessel operations & offices are put in place & reviewed regularly. All potential security threats, irregularities, breaches & incidents are reported & thoroughly investigated to allow for the continual improvement of our security processes & procedures. We comply with the requirements of the International & Port Facilities Security Code (ISPS) by training designated Ship Security Officers & Company Security Officers in accordance with International Maritime Organization (IMO) & providing every vessel with a specific ship security assessment and ship security plan.
